SOUTH AFRICA UPDATE


Dear Travel Partners,

WEF 1st June'2010 all NON-VISA exempt countries passport holders including India, Nepal and Bangladesh would be required to apply for transit visas for South Africa while enroute to neighbouring countries i.e. Kingdom of Lesotho, Kingdom of Swaziland, Republic of Namibia, Republic of Zimbabwe, Republic of Botswana and Republic of Mozambique etc.


South Africa Transit Visa requirements

  • Passport valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of the intended visit.
  • Passports must contain atleast 1 unused page for entry/departure endorsements.
  • 2 recent passport size colored photographs.
  • Covering letter from the applicant on company letterhead stating his name, designation purpose and duration of stay.
  • Foreign Exchange endorsement / credit cards copy.
  • Photocopy of return air ticket.
  • Proof of sufficient foreign means in terms of Income tax returns / Bank statements.
  • Required power of attorney form duly filled by the applicant. To download the form click here.
